Through a series of participatory round tables, debates and conferences, this international meeting wanted to explore our relationship with water, ancient element of cult but at the same time a tool for healing our mind and body. The Café of Europe acted as a prelude to Termatalia, the international fair of Thermal and Wellness Tourism that took place in Ourense between September 20-22 2013.
Topics
It was organized in three thematic sessions. Seakers from different places of Europe reviewed the history of thermalism during Antiquity,swiss replica watches from the Middle Age until 21st century. The discussions also highlighted the presence of thermal cities within the great European pilgrimage ways; the ways of Santiago and Vía Francígea: Ourense is a step of the ways of Santiago de Compostela and a city that since Middle Ages has become a stopping-place for pilgrims walking the Portuguese and the Southeast Way (Silver Way).
