Eleonora Berti
Eleonora Berti was graduated in 2006 in Architecture and Urban Planning from the University of Florence and she has obtained in 2010 a PhD degree in Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of Florence.
Eleonora is currently Coordinator of the projects of Cultural Routes at the European Institute of Cultural Routes in Luxembourg, where she has been working for three years.
She is regularly invited as speaker at international conferences and seminars, focusing her contributions in particular on the methodology of the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe and on the potential of the routes as vectors for a coherent and sustainable development and planning for the European territories.
She has written several scientific articles in Italian, French, and English on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe, sustainable development, cultural and ordinary landscapes, especially those that feature the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe. Her next book Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe: between landscape project and research of identity appeared in 2012.
She is the co-author of the guide on the Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe edited by the Touring Club Italiano in 2011.
